Why Webyaam

The speed of a site builder. The freedom of code.

Most visual builders keep your site inside their runtime. Webyaam writes a normal Astro project from the first click, so the canvas, your AI and your developers all work on the same source.

The usual way

Your site lives in someone else’s format

  • Layouts are stored in a proprietary document only the editor can read
  • Exports arrive as flattened HTML that is hard to keep working on
  • AI assistants edit from screenshots and guesses
  • Leaving means rebuilding from scratch
The Webyaam way

Every page is a real Astro file

  • Pages compile to native .astro components styled with Tailwind
  • Download the complete npm project at any time and run it anywhere
  • Your AI reads and edits the same source through MCP, with revision guards
  • Static output that any host can serve — or publish with us in one click
How it works

From prompt to published in four steps

Start on the canvas or in your AI client. Either way you end up with the same editable, portable project.

01

Create a site

Every project starts as a visual Home page backed by a real Astro starter. Add pages, layouts and collections as you go.

02

Compose with AI

Ask Claude or ChatGPT for a page. It builds atoms, blocks and sections, then assembles them through the MCP server.

03

Refine on the canvas

Rearrange blocks in the navigator, tune every breakpoint and design variable, or switch to Code for full control.

Design · Inspect · Code
04

Publish

One action saves, builds in an isolated sandbox and publishes the exact revision that passed to your own address.

Inside the builder

One project, four ways to work on it

Switch between the canvas, the code, your AI and the publish flow — they all edit the same Astro source.

Compose on a real canvas

Drag sections, stacks and grids into place and style every breakpoint.

  • Navigator mirrors the real component tree
  • Desktop, tablet, landscape and mobile styles
  • Design variables for color, size and type
The builder

A complete design tool, on top of real code

Everything you expect from a visual editor — without giving up the project structure a developer would write by hand.

Design

Visual canvas

Select any rendered element, see where it lives in source, and rearrange sections, stacks and grids in the navigator.

Code

Monaco code mode

Highlighting, formatting, quick open, search and Astro syntax diagnostics across the whole project.

4 breakpoints

Responsive by default

Desktop-first styles with tablet, landscape and mobile overrides on every block, plus hover states.

Tokens

Design variables

Site-wide colors, sizes and fonts as variables. Rename one and every reference follows.

216 presets

Section library

152 neutral wireframes and 64 art-directed heroes, installed into your project only when you use them.

Settings

Atomic components

Atoms, blocks and sections with declared content and design controls, so every card and button stays editable.

Content

CMS collections

Native Astro content collections with typed fields, Markdown entries and generated detail routes.

No backend

Forms that work

Native form blocks post to your published site, and submissions appear right inside the builder.

Section library

Start from 216 presets. Make every one yours.

Install only the sections you need. Each insert is an independent, fully editable tree of blocks.

AI & MCP

Built for AI from the first commit

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client to app.webyaam.com/mcp. Your assistant gets the same tools the editor uses — and the same guardrails.

OAuth with PKCE, or workspace-scoped access tokens you can revoke
Revision guards reject stale edits, so AI never overwrites your work
Reading projects and layouts never starts a virtual machine
Nothing goes live until you ask for it to be published

✓ Home · 7 sections
Your page is ready on the canvas. Every section is editable — publish whenever you’re happy.
Publishing

Ship it without a deploy pipeline

Builds run in disposable, isolated machines. What you publish is an immutable snapshot — later edits never change the live site until you republish.

1 click

Save, build, publish

A failed build keeps your source and leaves the live site untouched.

.webyaam.site

An address in seconds

Wildcard routing at the edge — no DNS records or per-site setup.

Isolated

Every build in its own VM

Builds, terminals and live previews run in separate sandboxes that stop on their own.

.zip

Your source, any time

Download the editable npm project or the compiled site and host it anywhere.

Sample quotes — replace with real customers before launch
We rebuilt our agency site in an afternoon. What won the team over was downloading the project and finding clean Astro components.
AMAlex MorganAgency founderSample
I describe a section to Claude, it builds it, and I fine-tune spacing on the canvas. It feels like pair-designing.
PNPriya NairFreelance designerSample
Our developers stopped worrying about the marketing site. Designers edit visually and the code stays reviewable.
DKDaniel KimHead of engineeringSample
Publishing is one click and a failed build never touches the live site. That alone saved us a late night.
SLSara LopezMarketing leadSample
The section library got us 80% of the way. Every preset is real blocks, so making it ours was quick.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still curious? Open the builder and look at the source of any page — that’s the best answer we have.

Is the output really just Astro?
Yes. Every visual page is generated as a standard .astro file from a JSON composition, with your components in src/components and Tailwind for styling. Download the project and run npm run build anywhere.
Which AI clients can connect?
Any MCP client that supports remote servers, including Claude and ChatGPT. Add https://app.webyaam.com/mcp as a connector and approve access to one workspace.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Build on the canvas with the section library, blocks and settings panels. When you want full control, the source is one click away in Code mode.
Can my team work in the same workspace?
Yes. Workspaces support owner, admin, editor and viewer roles, and every save is checked against the latest revision so nobody overwrites someone else.
Where are published sites hosted?
Published sites are served from yourname.webyaam.site. Because the output is static, you can also export it and deploy to any static host.
